Founded by Benjamin Titus Rutt, the agency started as a small operation in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania. Titus, who worked as an Orchard Manager for Milton Hershey, began selling insurance to supplement his income and eventually moved his family to Mount Joy to start the agency full-time. Over the years, Titus wore many hats, including preparing taxes, providing financial advice, and even serving as the mayor of Mount Joy in the late 1950s.

Today, the agency is operated by Jamie Rutt, Titus's grandson, who carries on the family tradition of providing exceptional insurance services to the community.
