History

Our story began in 1998, when our company was founded with a single goal in mind: to meet the needs of manufacturers and shippers in the greater Lubbock and West Texas area. Over the years, we have expanded our reach to serve the 48 contiguous states, Canada, and Mexico. We have expanded our services to include flatbed and heavy haul shipments, dry van customers, and recently added live floor equipment to our offerings.

Based in our 5,000-square-foot facility in Lubbock, we operate a trailer pool located in Del Rio, Texas. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to every customer, no matter how big or small, and to each employee and driver.

Services

At West Star Transportation, we specialize in hauling a wide range of products, including steel products, machinery, industrial pumps, plastic products, oilfield products, construction equipment, and cotton gin equipment. Our services include:

• Flatbed and Stepdecks: For hauling steel products, machinery, industrial pumps, plastic products, oilfield products, construction equipment, and cotton gin equipment.
• Heavy Haul: For hauling oversized and heavy loads.
• Dry Vans: For hauling dry commodities such as cotton, cotton seed, food products, sheet metal products, and many others.
• Bulk Commodities: For hauling agricultural commodities such as cotton seed, hulls, and many others using live floor trailers.
