Crawford's Custom Woodworks is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the domestic and commercial markets with exceptional woodwork for over 30 years. Based out of Lawtey, Florida, we are proud to offer our services to Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Union counties. Our specialty lies in custom cabinets and built-ins, as well as box cabinets, granite, solid surface, and Formica countertops. Meet the Owners

Crawford's Custom Woodworks is owned and operated by John Crawford, Sr. and his son, John Crawford II. John Crawford, Sr., the founder of the company, lives in Lawtey, Florida with his wife, Tammy, and two dogs, Charlie and Ricky. He has two adult children, John Crawford II and Jacob Crawford, as well as a daughter-in-law and four granddaughters. With over 30 years of experience in the building and construction industry, John Crawford, Sr. has been providing exceptional woodwork to families and businesses in the area. In 2016, he opened Crawford's Custom Woodworks, serving primarily Bradford County and quickly grew, now working alongside his son John, serving Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Union counties doing residential and commercial projects.

John Crawford II was born and raised in Lawtey, Florida and currently lives in Bradford County with his wife, Ashlea, a clinical social worker at UF Health and their four daughters. In addition to being a service member in the Army National Guard, John has held various roles in the construction industry for the past six years. Some of these roles include property preservation, flooring sales, lumber account management, and framing logistics. John also holds a certified building contractor's license. With a passion for the industry and extensive knowledge to offer both builders and homeowners, John Crawford II is committed to providing personalized and high-quality woodwork to all of our customers.

Our Process

At Crawford's Custom Woodworks, we present a unique opportunity for home buyers, investors, builders, and renovators to receive a personalized experience resulting in fully-customized, professionally installed, and high-quality cabinetry. Our process begins with an initial consultation with one of our cabinetry experts. During this meeting, we discuss the areas where work will be performed, the species of wood, paint versus stain, and all available accessories and upgrades. We then take preliminary measurements and provide a free estimate for the project.

Once the project is approved, our team of skilled woodworkers begins the manufacturing process. This involves constructing the cabinetry using all-wood plywood, solid wood face frames, and superior soft close under-mount slides and doors. We use durable paints and finishes to ensure the cabinetry is long-lasting and reliable. Our team works diligently to ensure the cabinetry is constructed to the highest standards, meeting all of our customers' specifications.

Once the manufacturing process is complete, we schedule a time for installation. Our team of professionals installs the cabinetry, ensuring it is level and secure. We take great care in protecting the surrounding areas during installation, ensuring there is no damage to the property. Once the installation is complete, we conduct a final inspection to ensure everything is to our customers' satisfaction.
