Welcome to The Cottages Senior Living & Memory Care, a trusted provider of assisted living services for seniors in Shawano, Oconto Falls, and Marinette. Our mission is to provide assistance with compassion, respect, and dignity to our communities' older adults. We are committed to meeting the needs of our residents even as they change, and helping them maintain their independence as long as possible.

Senior Living & Memory Care Services

Our Senior Living services are provided in Residential Care Apartment Complexes (RCACs), which combine independent apartment living with supportive and personal care available 24 hours a day. Our tenants have their own apartments that include a private bath and kitchen facilities, and services are tailored to each tenant's needs and preferences and adjusted as their care needs change. We provide up to 28 hours per week of services and may extend those hours for a 90-day period for acute illness or injury.

Our Memory Care program is dedicated to providing the special care that is required for someone with dementia. Our Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) are a safe and supportive environment where staff members are professionally trained in approaches and care for all types and stages of dementia, specifically Alzheimer's Disease. We provide help with frequent reminders, redirection, and calm reassurance, and we are also concerned about you, the family. Our Care Program will offer you support and help you understand ways to communicate and spend quality time with your loved one.

Amenities

Our RCAC amenities are designed to maximize our tenants' free time so that they can experience the things that bring them the most pleasure and stay active in the community. We offer three meals daily, wellness programs, transportation coordination to personal appointments, an on-site beauty/barber shop, a relaxation spa, live entertainment, off-site group outings, tenant clubs, cards, arts and crafts, book reviews, menu planning, gardening, religious services, educational seminars and speakers, inviting library, shopping and lunch outings, and basic cable TV. Our CBRF amenities include private spacious units with a full bathroom, a safe and secure setting, 24/7 state certified caregivers/specialized dementia care, home-cooked meals and snack program, in-house nursing and physician visits, family emotional support & hospice care chapel/private lounge areas, 3-seasons porch, and beauty/barber/podiatry services. All of these amenities are provided in a truly home-like environment, and our professional staff members are trained to meet our tenants' needs with courtesy and respect.
