Tiny Hippos Daycare & Preschool is a family-owned and operated company. Our childcare has been in business since 2006 and is designed to provide the highest quality childcare and an early childhood program for families in the Hemet area. We offer an enriched learning environment in a family-like setting for the children and families we serve. Our curriculum is both play-based and structured, which provides emotional, social, and cognitive experiences for your children during their most important years of learning and development. In addition, our Daycare is designed and structured with your child in mind and has a park-like playground. Our staff is friendly and full of patience, as well as fingerprinted and background checked.

Our Program

Our programs are designed to cater to different age groups, providing a tailored experience for each child. For example, our toddler program encourages children's developing independence by helping them gain self-help skills, such as the abilities to feed themselves, relate to others, and make choices. This helps children develop feelings of competence and self-esteem, setting the foundation for future learning success.

For our preschool-aged children, we focus on developing perseverance, which is the ability to overcome obstacles to achieve a goal. This is essential to children's success. In our preschool classroom, children develop this crucial trait by engaging in play-based learning activities and sticking with them until they solve the problem or complete the project.

Our curriculum emphasizes music and rhythm, arts and crafts, memory games, small muscle development, and age-appropriate social and self-help skills. Each week has a different theme that is promoted in the classroom. Tiny Hippos Preschool will provide a loving, safe, and secure atmosphere in which each child has an opportunity to develop emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually.

After School & Transportation

We understand that parents have busy schedules, which is why we offer before and after-school transportation services to make your life easier. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring your child's safety and well-being during transportation to and from school.

Free Meals & Quality Care

We believe that providing nutritious meals is essential for a child's growth and development. Therefore, we offer free meals to all our enrolled children. Our meals are carefully planned to ensure they meet the dietary needs of each child, promoting healthy eating habits from an early age.

Our staff is trained to provide a nurturing environment that fosters growth, learning, and happiness. We accept RCOE, GAIN, and CAPP to ensure that our services are accessible to all families who need them.
