WaterWorks Express is a locally owned and operated car wash with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Founded by Kerry Chipman in 1988, our commitment to providing a high-quality car wash experience has remained steadfast throughout the years. Kerry's journey began with a Super Wash franchise in Orem, Utah, where he developed a deep understanding of the car wash operations and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. He later expanded his business by acquiring two self-serve car washes in Northern Utah, one of which was Jax Car Wash in West Jordan.

Realizing the changing trends in the car wash industry, Kerry envisioned a state-of-the-art tunnel car wash and tirelessly worked towards realizing this dream. In 2008, he acquired the adjacent land to Jax Car Wash, laying the foundation for WaterWorks Express. Driven by his vision and a network of industry experts, Kerry meticulously planned and designed WaterWorks Express, sourcing the best equipment and supplies, ensuring every detail catered to delivering a premium car wash experience.

WaterWorks Express officially opened its doors in 2010, becoming one of the first tunnel car washes in the Salt Lake Valley. Our 180-foot tunnel utilizes the latest car wash technology and is equipped with industry-leading equipment, many pieces of which are customized specifically for WaterWorks Express. This includes our unique tire brushes, available with our RainX wash.

Our powerful Hurricane Drying System, featuring 13 powerful blowers and three one-million BTU burners, ensures your car dries quickly and efficiently. We are committed to using only the highest quality soaps and products, and our staff is well-trained and dedicated to providing professional service. Each car wash includes complimentary access to our state-of-the-art vacuum system and interior cleaning self-service area.
