Our Team

Tyson Doroha, the youngest of three boys, grew up with a strong interest in mechanics and fabrication, inspired by his father's work as an aircraft mechanic. Born in Hawaii and raised in El Segundo, Tyson attended El Segundo High School and pursued EMT training. However, his passion for doors and gates led him to work for a local door company, where he honed his skills in electrical work, welding, concrete cutting, concrete pouring, moveable gates, operators, overhead doors, accordion doors, hangar doors, and motorizing the impossible.

Whitney Carman, the youngest daughter of an entrepreneur, developed an early appreciation for the family business and the importance of hard work. With a background in boat cover and upholstery, Whitney built her own business in Vermont while her father spent winters in California. In 2012, she joined Aloha Doors and Gates, initially managing accounting, filing, and reconciling, before assuming a larger role in the company's operations. Today, Whitney is instrumental in estimating, managing large projects, and ensuring the highest quality control standards.
