In Vision Optometry

We are In Vision Optometry, a trusted eye care provider serving the Bay Area from our modern, spacious office in the heart of the East Bay. In January 2025, we merged with In Vision Optometry, welcoming Dr. Jane Hafen to our clinical team. Our optometric physicians include Dr. Rajleen Arora, OD, who holds TPA and Glaucoma Certifications and has experience collaborating with glaucoma, cataract and LASIK surgery specialists, Dr. Alec Kelemen, OD, who has provided private practice care to downtown Oakland patients since 1987, and Dr. Jane Hafen, OD, who was named 2002 Optometrist of the Year by the Alameda-Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society and taught optometry students at UC Berkeley from 1989 to 1994. Our clinical team is supported by managing optician Vick Singh, who holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Menlo College and specialized optical training from Bay Area Optical School, plus a dedicated, friendly front office staff. We operate an on-site optical laboratory to ensure fast, accurate fabrication of custom eyeglasses for our patients.

Our clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic technology to detect and evaluate a full range of eye diseases and conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and retinal detachment. We offer comprehensive eye exams designed to deliver the most accurate prescription possible while thoroughly evaluating overall eye health, including screening for dry eye, allergies and computer vision syndrome. Our contact lens services fit all common vision conditions, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia, using a wide range of product options. We carry an extensive selection of designer frames from top brands including Gucci, Versace, Prada, Ray-Ban, Cartier, Dita, Cazal, Burberry and more to suit every patients style.
