Alpine Chimney Sweep is a family-owned and operated business that has been providing top-notch chimney services since 1986. Family History

Our story began with Brian Williams's father, a chimney sweep and a firefighter, who passed on his knowledge and passion for the trade to his son. Brian has been a valuable member of the Alpine family for over 7 years, bringing extensive experience in sweeping, fixing, and installing various appliances.

Janie Fraser, our founder, is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America as a Certified Chimney Sweep, Reline Specialist, and F.I.R.E Certified Fireplace & Chimney Inspector. She has studied at the Ahrens Masonry School and Masonry Products, earning certification as a Rumford Builder. Janie is a Certified Chimney Professional and a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild for over 20 years. She has served as the past president of the Midwest Chimney Safety Council.

Amy Dondanville, Janie's daughter-in-law, joined the team in 2021, managing all the business financial, logistical, and administrative details from her home base in Taos, New Mexico.
