At Santee National Golf Club, our mission is to provide an exceptional golfing experience to golfers of all abilities. Our 18-hole golf course is designed to challenge even the most experienced golfers, while being accessible to beginners. Our course is set amidst rolling hills, mossy oaks, and four strategically situated lakes, ensuring an enjoyable and challenging round of golf.
Our History
In 1989, owners Cholly and Delaine Clark witnessed the devastation caused by Hurricane Hugo, which ravaged their new golf course development, Santee National Golf Club at Chapel Creek Plantation. Despite the devastation, Mr. Clark saw an opportunity to rebuild and create a destination golf course that would showcase the beauty of the Lowcountry. Fast forward 20 years, Santee National Golf Club has become South Carolina's inland golf destination, rated 4 stars by Golf Digest's Places to Play.
Our Course
Our golf course is designed to provide a true test of golf, with four tees at each hole to match the challenge to the golfer's skill level. The 18-hole course features Bermuda fairways and Champion Bermuda greens, with rolling hills and mossy oaks complementing the natural beauty of the Lowcountry. With four strategically situated lakes coming into play on the course, golfers will be treated to a challenging and enjoyable round of golf.
