Empowering Leaders Through Soccer
At So Cal Eagles, we are dedicated to introducing people to Jesus, teaching them to follow him, and empowering leaders through the global environment of soccer. Our mission-driven organization has been committed to this vision since 1983, and we are proud to be a part of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
Our Services
As a nonprofit organization, we offer a range of programs and services to promote soccer and share our values with the community. Our PLAY pathway offers various opportunities for children and adults to engage in soccer, from Micros (Age 3-5) to Competitive Teams, U23 Men's Team, WPSL, and USL 2. We also provide Summer Academy internships for college students and short-term international ministry opportunities. Additionally, we offer After School Soccer programs, Youth Club Teams, and Rec League and Clinics.
Our LEARN section provides information about our mission, staff, and MAI alumni. You can also find out more about our global mission and how you can get involved.
Our History
Missionary Athletes International (MAI) was founded in 1983 with the goal of using sports as a platform to spread the gospel and develop leaders. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our programs to reach more people and communities. Today, we are proud to be a leading organization in the field of soccer and ministry.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see a world where people are introduced to Jesus, taught to follow him, and empowered to become leaders in their communities. We believe that soccer has the power to bring people together, build relationships, and create opportunities for growth and development.
