We founded Sims Patrick Studio in 1999 with a vision to transform client visions into story-filled experiences through interior architectural design. Our firm is led by three principals who bring complementary expertise in concept development, 3D design and construction collaboration, and operations with FF&A quality control. Libby Patrick serves as our conceptual and narrative guru, shaping the story and emotional resonance of each project. Jenny Rutledge leads our 3D design, construction coordination, and architect collaboration to ensure designs are both beautiful and buildable. Melissa Wylie oversees operations and FF&A quality control, drawing on her extensive background in design and operations to maintain excellence. Our team comprises world-traveled designers, planners, and administrators who share a passion for culture, nature, fashion, leisure, business, and sport.

Each team member brings unique personal experiences that enrich our design perspective beyond their professional titles. We specialize in creating memorable interior environments for hospitality, retail, corporate, luxury residential, historic, and philanthropic projects worldwide. Our full-service approach includes project management, programming, space planning, brand interpretation, conceptual design, design development, CAD-based construction documents, FF&E specifications, bidding, construction administration, and furniture and artwork installation. We follow a research-driven process that seeks the storys thread through travel, nature, fashion, leisure, and business influences before designing with the end user experience in mind.
