Welcome to Near Southside Fort Worth's first custom tattoo shop, Fade to Black Tattoo Company. We specialize in custom tattoos in a variety of styles and sizes to suit our client's needs. Our artists' portfolios showcase their unique skills, so you can find the perfect artist for your next tattoo idea. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you are comfortable and happy with your custom work of art.

Our shop is located in the booming Near Southside/SoMa neighborhood, where owners Chance Webb and Shannon Osbakken also own the popular bar and restaurant, The Bearded Lady. Since opening our doors just three years ago, we've been fortunate enough to win Fort Worth Weekly's "Best Of" twice for Best Tattoo Parlor. We employ only the best of the best and value every member of our wonderful team and their dedication to quality work.

We have a passion not only for tattooing but for our growing community in Near Southside. We've loved getting to meet so many amazing people and are grateful every day to provide service to such a wonderful clientele. Our Services

We offer tattoos as well as piercings here at Fade to Black! Our piercer is in Tuesday - Saturday from 2 pm - 10 pm, and offers appointments on Monday and Tuesday. We offer a wide range of piercing services, and only pierce with high-quality titanium, or gold. We also offer a variety of upgraded jewelry in-store. If we aren't carrying something you love, we also offer the ability to order jewelry to fit each client's pierced vision!

We also have a special offer for TCU students. Bring in your TCU student ID to receive $20 off any piercing, or multiple! All piercings are performed using high-grade titanium jewelry. We also carry many 14-karat, and 24-karat gold options. This deal isn't going away any time soon, but it won't last forever!

Our talented team of artists includes Audra Blalock, Briana Maskell, Kenzie Thurman, Alexander Sedaca, Sara Dawn, and Silas Trigg. Each artist has their own unique style and skillset, so you can find the perfect fit for your next custom tattoo.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are open Tuesday-Saturday 12pm-10pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays. All of our artists are independently contracted and make their own prices. Most charge a flat rate for smaller pieces, and hourly for anything "palm-sized" or larger. You will need to consult with your artist for a price estimate. All of our artists require a $40-$100 deposit and booked appointment before drawing anything, unless you are a "walk-in" client.

Yes, we can pierce anyone over the age of 5 years old. Some piercings are advised not to get until later though, so please call ahead to speak with our piercer!
