Treatment Works. People Recover.

The Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County is dedicated to providing essential services for the residents of Portage County. We understand that mental health and addiction are significant concerns that affect individuals and families across the community. Our mission is to offer a comprehensive network of care, including mental health services, addiction treatment, and prevention programs. We believe that everyone deserves access to support, regardless of their financial situation. Our services are designed to address a wide range of needs, from crisis intervention to long-term recovery.

Our services include crisis intervention, mental health treatment, addiction services, and prevention programs. We provide assistance to individuals and families dealing with mental illness, depression, addiction, and those at risk for suicide. We also offer support for veterans, older adults, and communities in need of crisis services. Our network of agencies is funded by Portage County taxpayers, along with grants and funds from the State of Ohio, ensuring that our services are accessible to as many as possible.

We understand the importance of community partnerships and collaboration. That's why we work closely with local organizations, such as the Portage County 24-hour Addiction Helpline, the Crisis Center, and the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Portage. These partnerships enable us to provide a more comprehensive range of services and support to those in need.

Our goal is to improve the lives of thousands of Portage County residents who seek services from our system of care and support. We believe that treatment works, and people recover. If you or someone you know is struggling, we are here to help. Please reach out to us for more information or to access our services.
