Our journey began in 1967 when the original Tower Auto opened its doors in Blawnox, Pennsylvania. Excellent Customer Service and Buying Experience
The majority of the reviewers have had a positive experience with Tower Motors. They have praised the dealership for being transparent, knowledgeable, and fair in their dealings. Jared, a sales representative, has been particularly commended for his excellent customer service. Reviewers have also appreciated the fair and equitable prices of the vehicles, with some even trading in their old cars for a newer model. The service department has also received high praise, with reviewers finding the service to be prompt and well-executed.
Disappointing Purchasing Experience
However, a few reviewers have had a disappointing experience with Tower Motors. Martin Ronald purchased a 15-year-old Corvette with high mileage and found it to be in poor condition, with broken air vents and a moldy convertible top. He felt misled by the sales pitch and the car being described as being in great shape.
Barbara DeRiso and Kevin Dorko, on the other hand, were happy with their purchases, but were disappointed with the lack of transparency on the miles and condition of the vehicles. Barbara DeRiso's husband purchased a car that was 4 years old but had high mileage, while Kevin Dorko's Wrangler was reported to have high mileage but was well-maintained.
Scam Allegations
Two reviewers have accused Tower Motors of scamming them. Robin Lynn purchased a one-owner car with high mileage and found that the odometer readings were inconsistent, with one reading significantly higher than the others. She felt that the dealership was trying to scam her and refused to make it right. Jeremiah S. had an even more egregious experience, purchasing a BMW with high mileage and finding that it had a faulty engine, along with other issues. He accused the dealership of selling him a car without catalytic converters and being dishonest in their dealings.
