La Bottega

La Bottega is an Italian cafe, deli, and wine shop located in the heart of Vancouver, Washington. Founded in 2006 by Peter and Lisa Dougherty, La Bottega is a locally owned and family-operated restaurant that prides itself on serving authentic Italian food made from scratch. We believe in using fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients to create dishes that are not only delicious but also support our community. Our passion for food extends beyond our kitchen, and we strive to bring the finest food products to our growing community through our deli and retail areas.

At La Bottega, we are committed to providing our customers with an enjoyable dining and shopping experience that will keep them coming back time and time again. We offer first-come, first-served walk-in dining, as well as take-out options. We have implemented strict sanitization practices amongst our staff to ensure the safety of our community. Our restaurant features indoor and patio seating (when weather permits) and is currently not taking reservations.

Our Shop

La Bottega's deli features various meats and cheeses, from house-made corned beef and pastrami to fine Italian salami. We also offer a wide selection of olives, peppers, and pickled vegetables to complete your own creative antipasti. Our neighborhood market offers fresh bread, coffee, specialty baking items, balsamic vinegars and olive oils, pastas, seasonings, and other treats. Our retail freezer offers house-made soups, sauces, entrees, and our signature Remedy Tea!

Our wine shop is a passion project for us, and we focus on the quality of the wine and its producers. We develop relationships with an artisanal approach and a relatively small production. Most of our attention is on Italian wines from regions such as Alto Adige, Piedmont, Friuli, Veneto, Tuscany, Umbria, and Puglia, as well as many others. We also offer a wide selection of Late Bottle Vintage Ruby and Tawny ports and dessert wine from all over the world. Additionally, we showcase a variety of local beers and non-alcoholic beverages.

Our Menu

Our menu features a variety of locally sourced (when in season) quality foods that are always served with a smile. From our From-Scratch kitchen, we offer a variety of dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. We also offer Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free options, as well as dishes that may be served undercooked or raw. We remind our customers that eating undercooked meats, eggs, and fish may cause foodborne illness.
