There is no place quite like the Antique Tobacco Barn in Asheville. It's everyone's favorite eclectic shopping experience and has repeatedly been voted best place to buy antiques in Western North Carolina.

Our store is located at 75 Swannanoa River Road, Asheville, NC 28805, and we are open seven days a week with store hours from 10am to 5pm. The Antique Tobacco Barn features a massive 77,000 square feet of space filled with antiques and unique finds from over 75 dealers. This means there's something for everyone, whether you have a lot to spend or not.

The building originally held tobacco auctions seasonally while selling antiques year-round. However, after the 2004 floods, roughly two football fields of merchandise were 6 feet under water. After a miraculous recovery, Antique Tobacco Barn is back and better than ever with a gigantic selection of antiques at fair prices.

Our Services

We offer a wide variety of services to make your shopping experience as enjoyable and convenient as possible. For instance, if you find something you like but need time to consider your purchase, we can put a hold on the item for you for up to one day. This gives you ample time to measure your space or think about your decision without worrying about the item being sold.

Additionally, if you purchase an item but can't fit it in your car, we can store it for you in our Sold and Paid section for up to two weeks while you arrange transportation. If you need more time, we are happy to work with you to find a solution.

While we don't offer in-house deliveries or shipping services, we work with and recommend several companies that can help you get your new piece home safely. We keep their information handy at the checkout line and are happy to provide it over the phone as well.

We also accept phone orders. If you see something online or on your social media feed, we can help you purchase it over the phone. Just let us know the item's description and your payment information, and we'll take care of the rest.
