CNC Machining Capabilities

Our machine shop is equipped to produce custom plastic parts for a variety of project needs, applicable in any industry. We offer large format CNC machining to 144" x 60" high-precision CNC turning with live tooling, close tolerance to +/-.0002, engraving, serialization, and high-speed threading. We also offer Solidworks solid modeling design consultation and utilize a range of tools, including the Anderson Stratos Pro Router, Doosan DMV 5025, and Doosan PUMA 240M Lathe.

Fabrication Capabilities

Our fabrication capabilities include hot-air welding, solvent cementing, strip forming/brake bending to 72" wide, mechanical assembly, flame polishing, and buffing. We use a range of tools, including two manual sharp mills, Axes travel (x/y/z): 37/12/5 in., and Max. spindle speed: 4,500 RPM.

Materials

We specialize in prototype through production with the full range of plastic materials, including ABS, Acetal, Acrylic, Boltaron, Delrin, G10/FR4, GPO3, HDPE, Lexan, Nylon 66, PCTFE (Kel-F, Neoflon), PEEK, Polycarbonate, Polycast, SAR, Polyethylene, Polypropylene, PVC, PVDF (Kynar), PTFE, Ultem (PEI), and Vespel.

Our Story

In September of 2000, Scott Dion, John Donnelly, Sr., and Gary Holst brought together their combined experience in plastics manufacturing and fabrication to start Caliber Plastic Solutions, Inc. From humble beginnings in Harry Vossen's garage with a table saw, router, and hand tools to our current facility of 8,000 square feet complete with CNC mills, lathe, and a fully-equipped shop, we have done our utmost to build upon our values, invest in our future, and grow as individuals and as a team. We believe in treating our customers and employees honestly, setting fair prices, and paying fair wages. We take pride in working to reduce environmental impact by sourcing 100% renewable energy and limiting plastic waste during manufacturing.
