Yoga by Kathryn is a premier yoga studio based in Saginaw, MI, offering a wide range of classes for every body and personality. Our mission is to help people feel better from the inside out, by providing unique yoga experiences and education tailored to the needs of the Great Lakes Bay Region. Founded by Kathryn Wilson, a dedicated and passionate yoga instructor with extensive education and experience, Yoga by Kathryn has been proudly serving the community since May 27, 2016.
Meet Kathryn Wilson
Kathryn Wilson has always had a passion for helping others and through yoga, she has found a way to use her gifts to make a difference in the lives of those around her. With a deep understanding that we are all wired differently, she believes that there is a type of yoga for everyone, whether it's senior, kids, restorative, power, meditation, yoga with weight, or even yoga with goats (just kidding!).
Kathryn's education and experience in yoga are unparalleled. She has completed a 38-hour Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training at Corepower Yoga in Chicago, IL, a 200-hour Yoga Certification in Costa Rica with Frog Lotus Yoga International, a 200-hour Hot Yoga Teacher Training at Corepower Yoga in Chicago, IL, and a SUP (Stand-up Paddleboard) Yoga Teacher Training at Yen Yoga in Traverse City, MI. She is also a prenatal-friendly instructor and is currently studying senior and chair yoga, making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of age or mobility.
Teaching Experience
Kathryn has been teaching since 2011 and has worked with a wide range of students, from beginners to advanced yogis. She has taught at Corepower Yoga in Chicago, IL, where she was also a yoga teacher trainer, and Xsport Fitness. She is proud to present Yoga by Kathryn, a yoga studio that has been growing beautifully with new students day by day.

*Special Classes*
- Yoga for Athletes: Many professional teams now have a yoga instructor on staff, and for good reason. Flexibility prevents injury, and yoga can help athletes with recovery, flexibility, range of motion, and core strength specific to their sport.
- Prenatal Yoga: Yoga is a great way for expectant mothers to reduce stress, focus on breathing, and increase strength, flexibility, and endurance in the muscles needed for childbirth.
- Office Yoga: Studies have shown that yoga in the workplace increases productivity. Yoga can help reduce stress and improve overall health, making it a great addition to any office setting.
- Yoga Parties/Private Groups: Yoga is a great way to celebrate any occasion. Whether it's a birthday, bachelorette party, or girls' night out, we can customize a class and playlist to fit your needs.
- Yoga in the Park: Fresh air and yoga go hand in hand. Join us at Roethke Park or Haithco Park for a peaceful and rejuvenating yoga experience.
