Our Story
Cullman Family Counseling was founded in 1991 by Annette King McHan, who had a dream to make mental health counseling more widely accepted and available in the Cullman, Alabama area. Until 2016, Annette ran a successful private practice, helping people all over central and north Alabama with a wide array of needs. Laura Doss, Annette's daughter, joined the practice in January 2017. In 2022, Cullman Family Counseling expanded to include Christine Wiggins. Today, our team of experienced counselors is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for individuals, couples, and families to explore their challenges and work towards a brighter future.
