History

Founded in 1994, Hay Construction has maintained strong relationships with multiple clients while continuing to see growth in our client base and volume of construction projects in central Iowa. Almost all of our clients are repeat customers, a testament to our quality of service, timely responsiveness to client needs, and commitment to providing the highest value for the lowest costs on every project we complete.

Management Team

Our management team is comprised of experienced professionals, including President Steve Hay, B.S. Engineering, M.B.A., Vice President Mark Tichy, and General Superintendent Darrel DeFrance. Each member of our team is dedicated to ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Services

Hay Construction offers a wide variety of construction services, including design build and pre-construction services, concrete work, carpentry, structural steel work, masonry, and interior finishes. We also have established trusted relationships with a network of subcontractors and firms for site work, electrical work, plumbing work, and mechanical work. Our financial capacity allows us to bond individual projects of up to $5 million dollars.
