Fostering Environmental Stewardship: A Commitment to Conservation
Camp Live Oak is a premier outdoor summer camp that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We are proud to be an ACA accredited, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to providing exceptional camp experiences for children in Fort Lauderdale and beyond. Our commitment to conservation and environmental stewardship ensures that every dollar generated goes directly into our programs, activities, and camper scholarships.
Our Programs and Activities
As a leading environmental and marine science camp, we offer a variety of unique weekly themes designed to engage and educate campers aged 5-13. Our programs incorporate hands-on activities, field trips, on-site adventures, and guest speakers to create a well-rounded camp experience. We are excited to introduce our Science of the Sea marine science program at Birch State Park, providing campers with even more opportunities to explore the wonders of our local ecosystems.
In addition to our weekly programs, we offer special events and activities such as the Starlight Sleepover, Salty Anglers Fishing Camp, Teen Eco Experience, Summer Camp for Toddlers - Lil Sprouts, and teacher workdays. Our year-round programs and seasonal sessions cater to the diverse needs and interests of our campers, fostering a lifelong love for nature and the great outdoors.
The Camp Live Oak Experience
At Camp Live Oak, we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where campers can learn, grow, and have fun. Our team of experienced and passionate staff members works diligently to ensure each camper's individual needs are met and that they are challenged and engaged throughout their camp experience. We are proud to have been voted Best Summer Camp Program by South Florida Family Magazine and Best Summer Camp by Our City Hollywood.
Our summer camp registration is now open, with weekly sessions available for campers aged 5-13, including a shortened week for Session 2 due to the July 4th holiday and a special Ocean Quest week for campers aged 9-13. We also offer a multi-week discount for campers who book three or more weeks, ensuring that our programs are accessible and affordable for all families.
