Hello, I'm Amanda, the proud owner of Grooming by Amanda. With over 20 years of experience as a professional pet groomer, I have honed my skills to provide top-notch grooming services for your four-legged family members. My journey began as a kennel keeper for a professional show groomer and handler, where I fell in love with the art of grooming. I started practicing my skills on the shop's show dogs and quickly learned the right way to groom a dog, going beyond the basics taught in grooming schools.

Over the years, I have mastered different haircuts for various breeds, upholding the standards of a show groomer. What sets me apart is my ability to understand and cater to the unique needs of each dog. I noticed that many animals were scared during grooming sessions, and I took it upon myself to change that. By modifying my approach and creating a safe, relaxed environment, I have been able to win over even the most anxious pets. My goal is to provide quality pet grooming that both pets and owners can enjoy.

Our Services

At Grooming by Amanda, we offer a variety of services tailored to your pet's needs. Our full grooming package includes a bath, ears cleaned, nails clipped, anal glands expressed, and a haircut. Prices vary based on your dog's weight and the condition of their coat. If your dog is heavily matted, additional charges may apply. We also provide bath and brush out services for dogs requiring extensive brushing.

*Full Grooming:*

• 0-10 lbs: $50+
• 10-20 lbs: $60+
• 20-40 lbs: $75+
• 50 lbs or more: $85+
• Most Doodles fall in the $85- $100+ range.
• Extra-large Doodles are around $150.

*Bath/Brush Out:*

• 0-10 lbs: $30+
• 10-20 lbs: $40+
• 20-40 lbs: $50+
• 50 lbs or more: $60+

Additional services include nail trims, teeth brushing, and nail grinding. You can choose from various hairstyles for your dog, such as the Puppy Cut, Teddy Bear Cut, Summer/Kennel Cut, and Poodle Cut, among others. I am experienced in grooming Doodles of all sizes and hair types, from Bernadoodles and Labradoodles to Whoodles, Sheepadoodles, and more. Rest assured that I will not "Poodle your Doodle" unless specifically requested.
