Our History

PT Associates of Emporia is a family-owned, private practice dedicated to providing high-quality physical therapy care to the Emporia community and its surrounding areas for the past three decades. Founded in 1989 by Greg Bachman, PT Associates began its journey inside the Newman Memorial County Hospital. Over the years, the practice has grown and evolved, driven by a commitment to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care.

In 2014, PT Associates of Emporia made a significant move, establishing a new location within the Emporia Fitness building. This strategic decision allowed the practice to seamlessly integrate fitness services with its physical therapy offerings, creating a unique and holistic approach to patient well-being. By uniting these two essential elements under one roof, PT Associates of Emporia provides patients with the tools and resources they need to address their individual needs and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
