Our company was founded in 1970 by Mr. Aguillard, who had a vision to deliver exceptional service and quality to our clients. Our History

Our story began in 1960 when Leonard Aguillard, a seasoned executive, left his executive position with a global industrial manufacturing company to join three other top-level executives in forming a local Baton Rouge warehousing company. In 1970, Mr. Aguillard resigned his partnership and founded Agway Systems, Inc. He started with a small partitioned warehouse, storing raw materials used in the manufacture of finished consumer paper items. As the business grew, Mr. Aguillard entered into a long-term lease agreement with the Port of Baton Rouge and constructed his first company-owned building at the Barge Terminal Road Property.

Over the years, we have expanded our facilities and services to meet the growing demands of our clients. We have built a reputation for providing high-quality storage, handling, and transportation of customer goods. Our close-knit team of employees and contractors are second to none in the industry, and we take pride in our commitment to quality and safety. • Warehousing: We operate four facilities, totaling over 1,300,000 square feet of storage space, equipped with 24-hour security systems, backup generators, and custom-designed databases for inventory management.
• Transportation: We have a fleet of company-owned tractors and leased trailers, providing local drayage service between warehouses and manufacturing plants. We also have a network of long-term contract owner-operators providing over-the-road transportation between Baton Rouge and intermodal container terminals in New Orleans.
• Packaging: We have state-of-the-art packaging equipment and experienced personnel to ensure that your products are packaged efficiently and effectively.
• Physical Distribution: We provide physical distribution services, including receiving, storage, and shipping of goods.
