Welcome to Chestatee Golf Club, a premier public golf course located in Dawsonville, Georgia, nestled in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. Our story began in the early 2000s when two golf enthusiasts, Denis Griffiths and Duininck Golf, joined forces to create a world-class golfing experience. Designed by award-winning golf architect Denis Griffiths, our 18-hole championship golf course is among the most picturesque and memorable golfing experiences in the South. Our course is currently undergoing renovations. Duininck Golf is working alongside our maintenance crew to replace/repair bunkers, greens, and irrigation. Our driving range is also closed and under repairs at this time along with the pro shop and clubhouse restaurant. Please check back with us late summer for reopening announcements.

The Course

Our 18-hole championship golf course is meticulously designed to take advantage of the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and lake. With five sets of tees, our course provides a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. Hole-by-hole, our course is designed to test even the most skilled players while offering ample opportunities for error-free play. From the signature par 3, 17th hole, offering breathtaking views of the Chestatee River and Lake Lanier, to the challenging par 5, ninth hole, our course is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Amenities

At Chestatee Golf Club, we take pride in providing a full range of amenities to enhance your golfing experience. Our clubhouse serves as a stylish retreat for socializing with fellow golfers, relaxing after a round, and enjoying a satisfying meal at our on-site restaurant, The Heron Grille. Take advantage of our practice facilities, including a driving range, practice green, and bunker, to fine-tune your skills. Our professional staff is always on hand to provide expert advice, golf instruction, and equipment fitting. Hours of Operation

Our clubhouse is open daily from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Our golf course is open daily from 8:00 am to dusk, depending on the season. Our hours of operation are subject to change; it's always best to check with us in advance to confirm.
