Our History

Blackburn's Resort was founded in 1942 by Fred and Charlene Blackburn, who purchased the land and built the resort from scratch. The resort quickly became a popular destination for families and fishermen, thanks to its beautiful location on Lake Norfork. Over the years, the resort has changed hands several times, but each owner has maintained the high standards of quality and service that have made Blackburn's a beloved institution.
