Your Trusted Pet Care Provider in Philadelphia
Fairmount Pet Service was founded in 2009 by Jim, a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of experience in pet care. Our mission stems from Jim's deep connection to animals, cultivated through childhood memories of caring for his miniature poodle Charlie and years spent working with pets in various capacities. We specialize in personalized dog walking, pet sitting, and boarding services designed to meet the unique needs of each pet and owner. Our team combines professional expertise with genuine compassion, ensuring pets receive attentive care in familiar environments. We maintain rigorous standards for pet safety, requiring proof of vaccinations and flea/tick prevention for boarding clients. While temporarily closed during our relocation to Kentucky, we've served Philadelphia's Fairmount neighborhood for over a decade, building trust through consistent, reliable service. Our approach emphasizes transparency, with detailed visit reports and 24/7 emergency communication. We offer flexible scheduling options and maintain small client capacities to ensure quality care. Our experience spans diverse pet types and special needs, including administering medication and caring for multi-pet households. We're committed to continuing our tradition of excellence once operations resume in our new location.
