At Cold River Campground, we understand the importance of creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our campground is nestled in the heart of the Penobscot River Valley, surrounded by 40 acres of forest trails, making it the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Our campsites are designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience, with each site featuring a picnic table and a fire ring.

Accommodations

We offer a variety of accommodations to suit your needs, from traditional campsites to glamping tents and spacious lodging options. Our campsites range from pull-through campsites to back-in sites, many of which are located near our amenities, such as the pool and rec hall. For those who prefer a more luxurious camping experience, we offer glamping tents and lodging options that come equipped with modern amenities such as satellite TV and Wi-Fi.

Glamping Options

• Bear Lodge: Our lodges are fully furnished studio apartments that provide a comfortable living space on the campground. Each lodge features a queen-sized bed or sleeper sofa, as well as a full kitchen and private bathroom.
• Deer Lodge: Our lodges are conveniently located above the country store and lounge, offering a comfortable living space with a queen-sized bed and a fully equipped galley kitchen.
• Moose Track Cabin Double: This cabin features two bedrooms with full-sized beds, a seating area with a futon couch and cable TV, as well as a mini fridge and microwave. The cabin also has a picnic table and fire ring for your convenience.
• Moose Track Cabin Single: This cozy one-room cabin has a full-sized bed and seating area with a table and chairs. The cabin also features a picnic table and fire ring for your convenience.
• Moose Track Glamping Site: Our glamping site features a 20-foot expedition tent with a full-sized bed, futon couch, and bistro table. The site also includes electric and water hookups for your convenience.
