Our History

Established in 1984, MRL Crane Service began its journey as MRL Construction under the leadership of Mike Lilienthal. Initially focused on concrete work, steel buildings, and grain bins, the company's scope has evolved significantly over the years. Driven by the ever-changing needs of the construction industry, MRL Construction underwent a name change to MRL Crane Service, Inc. and relocated twice, expanding its services and equipment offerings.

MRL Crane Service proudly calls Grand Island, Nebraska, home, situated just north of I-80 on US Hwy. 281. For over three decades, our unwavering commitment has been to provide the highest quality crane service, rigging expertise, and equipment rental solutions to clients across central Nebraska. Mike Lilienthal, the company's founder, brings over thirty-five years of experience in the construction equipment and crane operation sector.
