Our Story

Our goal is to provide our customers with the best furniture, service, and selection. The history of Bare Furniture Co. dates back to the late 1960s when the Bare family purchased a parcel of land off of Highway 29 in China Grove, North Carolina. The family then built a 2,500 square brick building on that plot with the intention of selling quality products to the community. Over the years, the business has undergone significant expansion, growing to include over 7,500 square feet of showroom and 6,000 square feet of warehouse space. In 2012, the company was sold to Michelle Pawlak, a long-time employee and friend of the Bare family, who now runs the store alongside her husband Jim and their two sons, Nik and Tyler. This family-run business has been built on the principles of quality, service, and community, ensuring that every customer has a memorable and enjoyable shopping experience.
