Our journey began with a simple dream: to create a captivating sanctuary where people could connect with the outdoors. Joe and Martha Cordova, with unwavering determination, arrived in Encinitas in 1973 with a vision of building a retail garden center where individuals and families could find extraordinary plants and decorative elements for their outdoor spaces. Starting with a small greenhouse, their tireless effort propelled them to establish Cordova Greenhouses, later developing into the flourishing Cordova Gardens we witness today.
