Our Company

Our Staff

Joe Morris, the founder of Morris Tax and Accounting, PLLC, envisioned delivering exceptional quality and care to every client that walks through the door. He has more than 20 years of experience in tax and accounting, having worked as part of the executive team for businesses in agriculture, healthcare, mining, and transportation industries. His private sector experience ranges from managing start-up companies to operating companies with revenues up to $20 million annually. Prior to his work in the private sector, he worked as an auditor in public accounting, gaining experience with businesses, non-profit organizations, foundations, and retirement plans. Joe is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Oklahoma. He received the Honorable Mention Award by the Oklahoma Society of CPAs for passing all four sections of the CPA exam on his first attempt. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Oklahoma Society of CPAs, serving as a member of the Oklahoma Society of CPAs Tax Committee and contributing writer for the CPAFOCUS publication of the OSCPA. Joe graduated cum laude from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Business Administration and summa cum laude with a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix. Volunteering is important to Joe. He currently serves as the Treasurer for Haskell County Angel Tree Association and is the Finance Chair for First Methodist Church in Stigler. In his free time, Joe enjoys working cattle, running marathons, and traveling with his family.
