McDougals Sewing Centers is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 60 years in the Houston area. We are proud to be the ONLY Premier Husqvarna Viking/Pfaff Dealer in the Houston area, and we also sell Brother and JUKI machines. Our philosophy is centered around providing our customers with the finest products, expertise, and instruction available. We believe in building long-term relationships with our customers and strive to make every interaction a positive and memorable experience.

Our story began with Bob McDougal, who founded Bob McDougal Sewing Machine Co. in the Houston Heights area. He believed in hard work, honesty, and customer relationships, which led to the success of his business. Today, his grandson, Dan Welch, along with his wife Karen, own and operate McDougal Sewing Center's main store in Katy and five additional stores within Jo-Ann Stores. They continue to honor Bob's legacy by introducing the newest innovations in sewing and embroidery to their customers.
