We are thrilled to introduce ourselves as a family-run event venue, nestled in the heart of West Michigan. Our centennial farm, established in 1879, boasts two unique event spaces, The Red Shed and Byre 53, which offer a rustic charm and natural beauty that will make your special day truly unforgettable.

Our Story

The Red Shed & Byre 53 is a labor of love, born out of a desire to create a unique and memorable experience for our clients. Our journey began when Matt and Ashley, the owners, were planning their own wedding and couldn't find a venue that fit their vision. They jokingly discussed hosting their wedding in the barn on the farm, which was formerly known as "The Tool Shed." With determination and hard work, they transformed the barn into a stunning event space, and The Red Shed was born. Since then, we have expanded to include Byre 53, offering two distinct venues that cater to different tastes and preferences.

Our Venues

The Red Shed, with a maximum capacity of 240 guests, offers a spacious and rustic atmosphere, perfect for larger events. Byre 53, with a maximum capacity of 140 guests, provides an intimate and cozy setting, ideal for smaller gatherings. Our outdoor ceremony site is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene and peaceful ambiance. We also offer a bridal suite and groom's room, designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing space for the wedding party to prepare for the big day.
