At Maple Federal Credit Union, we are proud of our rich history that spans over six decades. Our journey began on April 25, 1955, when we were chartered as Lafayette City Employees Federal Credit Union to serve the employees and retirees of the City of Lafayette, Louisiana. Since then, we have evolved to become a premier financial institution that serves a diverse membership base.

Membership Eligibility

We welcome members from all parish governments within Lafayette Parish, municipal or city governments within Lafayette Parish, and any governmental units established at the parish or local level of government within Lafayette Parish, except the school board. We also welcome immediate family members of existing Maple Federal Credit Union members, as well as retirees and organizations of such persons. If you're interested in joining, please bring your current, valid state-issued identification card and/or passport, and your Social Security card along with a $5.00 share membership deposit.
