Recycling Authority Rrrasoc

The Recycling and Re-Source Recovery Authority of South Oakland County (RRRASOC) was established in 1989 to serve the communities of Farmington, Farmington Hills, Milford, Milford Township, Novi, South Lyon, Southfield, Walled Lake, and Wixom. Over the years, we have evolved to provide a variety of recycling services to our member communities. Our mission is to make it easier for residents to recycle by offering curbside recycling, drop-off centers, and household hazardous waste collection events.

We understand the importance of recycling and reducing waste. That's why we provide educational resources, including the Re-Source Guide, to help residents learn what can be recycled and how to properly dispose of various materials. Our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) is state-of-the-art, allowing us to efficiently sort and separate recyclables from the materials collected.

We also recognize the need for convenient options for residents to dispose of hazardous waste. That's why we offer drop-off locations and scheduled pickups for household hazardous waste. Our partnership with ERG Environmental Services allows residents to drop off hazardous waste at their facility in Livonia on non-event days without a fee.

Our commitment to recycling and waste reduction is evident in our services and programs. From curbside recycling to special collection events, we strive to make recycling accessible to everyone in our community.
