The Bookstore at Fitger's is a full-service, locally owned, independent bookstore located in the historic Fitger's mall, connected to the historic lakefront hotel of the same name. Our store is nestled in the heart of Duluth, Minnesota, offering a unique shopping experience that combines the charm of a local business with the selection of a larger chain. We're proud to be part of the intimate shopping and dining experience that Fitger's mall provides for its visitors.

Our Collection

Our collection of books features the history, cultures, nature, lifestyle, cuisine, activities, and folklore of our locale - Lake Superior, the north shore, and the Northwoods of Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition to regional titles, we offer carefully selected fiction and non-fiction titles of interest to residents of the area as well as the many visitors who choose to spend their precious vacation time in the Duluth, MN area. We're dedicated to providing a diverse selection of books that cater to all tastes and interests.

• Book and Author Events: The Bookstore at Fitger's is proud to host a variety of authors for frequent events including author readings, book signings, book discussions, and book groups. Follow our Facebook page and view our calendar for a list of Upcoming Events.

• Bookclubs: Looking for an opportunity to explore and talk about your love of reading with other bookworms? Consider joining one of our Bookclubs. Already a member of a Bookclub and not afraid to welcome new members? Contact us about listing your club and we'll help you promote your group, and we'll be able to offer a discount on your monthly selections.
