Meet the Team

Our team is led by Laura Yeager Smith, ASID Allied Principal, who has a passion for design from a young age. Laura was raised in Northeast Ohio and earned a BS in Interior Design from The Ohio State University. With years of experience designing spaces coast to coast with top design firms in San Francisco, Virginia, and Naples, Laura has brought her expertise back to Ohio. She opened the doors to her Storefront Studio in 2014, where she enjoys creating high-quality, authentic designs that reflect her clients' individuality.

Meredith Mihalic, NCIDQ, serves as our Design Director and Senior Designer. With a BS in Interior Design from the University of Cincinnati, Meredith has extensive knowledge of the design process from a practical perspective. She leads our design team and is a talented designer as well as a skilled and precise Project Manager. Her renderings showcase the technical artistry of design while clearly conveying concepts to our clients.

Heather Townsend, Associate Designer and Senior Project Manager, joins the team with nearly a decade of experience in the industry. She is passionate about facilitating the perfect selection for clients' individual design style and has extensive knowledge surrounding all things tile. Krystina Aquilino, Associate Designer and Project Manager, earned a BFA in Interior Design from The North Coast College and has experience with lighting and residential design. Her passion for design is an asset to our team.

Jaclyn Galletti, Associate Designer and Project Manager, joins the team with a diverse background in the Interior Design industry. Her experience in residential project management, office management, and tile sales gives her a great foundation for Project Management. Jaclyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University.

Deb Stelmarski, Operations Director, brings a diverse set of skills and attributes to our team. While attending Kent State University, she studied Interior Design, but as life has it, she has spent her career in operations and administration. Deb now directs the daily operations of our Studio & Storefront to implement the vision of our Principal while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met on time and per process, with a smile.

Kaylen Rantilla, Senior Designer and Drafter, is a skilled and creative designer who collaborates with our design team to draft beautiful and technical designs. With a diverse background in the design industry, Kaylen is an integral part of our team.
