Our story began in the year 2000, when our founder, Ms. Temeka Davis, started the piano studio with a handful of students and a personal philosophy that piano education, imagination, adventure, and fun all go hand in hand. Over the years, our studio family has grown to include over 110 students. In 2007, Ms. Rebekah Whitaker joined our administrative support staff and soon became a piano instructor.

At The Musical Express, we believe that music education should be engaging, interactive, and rewarding. That's why we offer a variety of services designed to cater to students of all ages and skill levels. Our Services

Some of our notable memberships include the Augusta Music Teachers Association (AMTA), Georgia Music Teachers Association (GMTA), Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), Piano Guild (a division of the American College of Musicians), and Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner.

Our instructors have received numerous awards and recognition for their outstanding instruction and leadership in music education. These include the Steinway Teacher & Educational Partner Top Teacher Award, Augusta Family Magazine Favorites, and the Augusta Award Program.
