Each design solution responds to site-specific conditions, cultural context, and client aspirations while maintaining architectural integrity through thoughtful material selection and spatial organization.
Mid-Century Modern Remodeling
Our mid-century modern remodeling expertise preserves original architectural character while integrating contemporary functionality. We've worked extensively with Eichler homes and tunnel houses, optimizing layouts through strategic wall removal, daylighting solutions, and seamless indoor-outdoor transitions. Our work maintains historical authenticity while updating spaces for modern living standards and energy efficiency.
Custom Woodwork
Through Redtail Woodworks, we offer bespoke cabinetry and architectural millwork crafted from premium materials. Our woodworking expertise enhances both aesthetic appeal and functional storage solutions. Each piece reflects our commitment to quality craftsmanship, from custom barn doors to integrated furniture elements that maximize space efficiency while adding warm, natural textures to residential interiors.
Sustainable Design
We integrate sustainable practices throughout our design process using eco-friendly materials like bamboo flooring and energy-efficient building techniques. Our approach balances environmental responsibility with cost-effectiveness, informed by our own residential development experience. Solutions include natural daylight optimization, low-maintenance exterior materials, and strategic space planning that reduces long-term resource consumption while maintaining design excellence.
Space Optimization
We transform residential layouts to maximize functionality and flow through structural modifications like open floor plans and cathedral ceilings. Our expertise includes adding livable square footage within existing envelopes while improving spatial relationships. We create multifunctional areas with custom solutions like movable kitchen islands and flexible room configurations that adapt to evolving lifestyle needs without compromising architectural coherence.
