Horrible Experiences
It's clear that several students at Arbor View High School have had terrible experiences throughout their academic careers. Maddie Johnson, Danica Chu, and Tsheree M. all gave the school 1-star reviews, citing issues such as overcrowded classrooms, bullying, favoritism, and a lack of respect from staff members towards students and parents.
Tsheree M.'s review is particularly disturbing, as she details her son being harassed and bullied by staff and students, and how the school failed to address the situation. She even filed a discrimination complaint with the Department of Education and is still waiting for the outcome of the investigation.
Negative Treatment of Minority Students
The reviews also highlight concerns about the treatment of minority students at the school. Tsheree M. specifically mentions how her son was treated unfairly because of his race, and how the school's staff had stereotyped views of black youth.
Lack of Support
The reviews suggest that the school does not provide adequate support to its students. Maddie Johnson expressed feelings of depression and hopelessness while attending the school, and Tsheree M.'s son was left to deal with the aftermath of the bullying and harassment without proper support from the school.
