Calef Lake Campground

Calef Lake Campground has been a family-oriented destination for outdoor enthusiasts since the early 1970s. Originally established by the Cooper family and expanded over two generations, the campground was acquired in 2019 by Frank and Dave, who continue its legacy of providing authentic camping experiences. Nestled on 40 wooded acres with over a quarter-mile of direct lakefront access, we offer a clean, safe, and secure environment for guests to relax and connect with nature. Our diverse accommodations include full-hookup RV sites, rural tent sites, luxury glamping tents, rustic cabins, rental trailers, and a lakeside vacation house, all designed to accommodate groups of six or more. Located just 20 minutes southeast of Manchester, NH, we provide easy access to top regional attractions in New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts.

Our amenities include a sandy beach with swimming, boat rentals, fishing opportunities, weekly activities for all ages, and a fully stocked store offering essentials, ice cream, and outdoor gear. Our dedicated staff ensures personalized service, from local recommendations to reservation assistance, making every visit memorable. With two lakes for recreation, a basketball court, volleyball court, and holiday events like Fourth of July fireworks, we cater to families seeking both adventure and relaxation. Our commitment to quality extends to our recently remodeled facilities, including bathhouses with laundry services and private amenities. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or an extended stay, Calef Lake Campground combines natural beauty with modern comforts to create lasting memories for generations of campers.
