Our Story

Front Porch Cafe is more than just a place to grab a delicious meal and a fresh cup of coffee - it's a gathering place where community flourishes. Our mission is to create a welcoming space where people can connect over exceptional food, handcrafted beverages, and live music.

It all started with a passion for bringing people together. Our owner, Lyn, has always believed in the power of music to create a sense of unity and belonging. This passion was first ignited in his youth when he was involved in showcasing local musical talent at a coffeehouse in Hartville. Years later, he decided to bring that same spirit to Front Porch Cafe, a place where the aroma of freshly roasted coffee mingles with the sounds of live performances, fostering a vibrant atmosphere.

Our Coffee

At Front Porch Cafe, we take our coffee seriously. We partner with Hemisphere Coffee Roasters, a company that shares our commitment to quality and sustainability. Hemisphere Coffee sources beans from across the globe, working directly with growers to ensure fair trade practices and empower coffee-producing communities. Their beans are meticulously roasted, preserving the unique flavor profiles of each origin. We then meticulously craft each latte, cappuccino, Americano, and pour-over, ensuring that every sip is an unforgettable experience. We offer a variety of brewing methods, from classic drip coffee to more specialized techniques like V60 pour over and French press, allowing coffee lovers to explore the nuanced flavors of our carefully selected beans.
