Nick's Welding & Fabricating, Inc. is a leading provider of metal working services, offering a wide range of solutions from concept to production. Our History

Founded in 2000 by Nick Helstad, the business started as a small welding operation, primarily doing repair work and fabricating various projects. Over the years, we have grown significantly, overcoming many challenges and hurdles. In 1999, Nick graduated with a welding degree from Western Technical College, and in 2001, his wife Lesley started doing accounting for the business while pursuing her studies. In 2005, Lesley graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Administration in accounting, Summa Cum Laude.

Our Facilities

Our new facility, built in 2008, is 13,000 square feet, featuring a large fabrication shop, material storage, a painting facility, and offices. The recent additions include a 12,000 square foot fabrication bay with a 10-ton and a 15-ton overhead crane, and an expanded paint shop. We also have a fleet of trucks for deliveries and pickups.

Our Team

Today, we have nearly 30 employees between the shop, office, and truck drivers. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality work. We continue to grow with new and repeat customers, and our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains our top priority.
