At Pompano Beach Marine Center, we have a rich history that spans over 58 years. It all began in 1962 when Ted and Monica Johnson, along with their 16-year-old son, Jerry, purchased the fuel dock and rental boat business on the Intercoastal Waterway in Pompano Beach. From the very start, they were committed to treating their customers with the utmost respect and care, just as they would want to be treated themselves. This family-run business has been built on strong values and a dedication to excellence.

Over the years, we have experienced significant growth and expansion. In 1979, we became a certified Grady-White dealer, which has been a cornerstone of our success. We have also been a full-line Yamaha dealer since 1990, earning numerous awards for our Sales and Service achievements. Our commitment to customer satisfaction has earned us the prestigious Gold Anchor Award for Sales Achievement and Customer Satisfaction multiple times. We are proud to be part of the Admiral's Circle, a group that recognizes dealers who maintain high sales volume and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Today, our business is still family-run, with Jerry's children, Jill and Jon, actively involved. Jill manages the parts business, and Jon oversees various aspects of the dealership, including sales, service, and customer relations. Jerry and June, Jerry's wife, continue to be involved, ensuring that the family's values and commitment to customer satisfaction remain at the forefront of our operations.
