Over the past 20 years, we have dedicated ourselves to developing a unique and eclectic approach to practicing yoga that awakens the natural intelligence of one's body through conscious attention. Our approach, which is grounded in principles and practices of yoga, somatics, and movement education, as well as insights from modern dance, embodied anatomy, developmental movement, and embryology, encourages a whole-body exploration.

Our practice is full of deep inquiry, bringing awareness inside and out, and awakening curiosity and clarity in each moment, movement, and breath. At our core, we believe that movement has the power to provide refuge, nourishment, and a way to express and communicate one's experience of self. We are committed to sharing our love of movement with others, whether it be in a modern dance class, nursing home, mental health facility, yoga studio, or through our online and in-person classes and workshops.

Services Offered

We offer a range of services designed to help you explore and awaken your body's natural intelligence. Our services include:

  • Somatic Yoga Classes: In our somatic yoga classes, we utilize embodied anatomy, developmental movement, embryological study, and the principles of yoga to help bring a greater sense of awareness, curiosity, and clarity to each moment, movement, and breath. Our internal approach is a practice that can support and awaken the body in ways that bring a sense of balance, integration, and ease to the many layers of the body, inside and out.
  • Private Sessions: Working one-on-one is a collaborative process in which we explore, dialogue, and discover how your unique body moves and does not move, where your body breathes and does not breathe. In a private session, whether it is online or in-person, you will learn how to find stability and mobility from many different relationships and have the opportunity to explore specifically your own challenges and needs so that your practice can become a supportive and nourishing experience.
  • All Access Pass Video Library: Our all-access pass is a library of 27 videos that allow you to gradually be introduced to the ideas, languaging, and approach of our inquiry-based somatic yoga practice. Each time you practice, you will hear, feel, and notice more about yourself as you are guided through a process of discovery and exploration.
  • Blog Posts: Our blog posts are a collection of insights and reflections on our somatic yoga practice. From exploring the relationship between the diaphragms to sliding scapulas and ribs, we invite you to deepen your understanding and engage in a dialogue around the practice.
