Our Beautiful Facilities
Rawson Place Apartments is our premier facility, located within walking distance of downtown Dundee, Michigan. The facility boasts an abundance of green spaces, including a large community patio for gatherings, a community vegetable garden, and a large screened-in gazebo for outdoor relaxation. Our apartments are designed with comfort and accessibility in mind, with each of the 75 units equipped with several amenities at no additional charge. These amenities include appliances, quality cabinetry, substantial storage space, full bathroom, cable television readiness, individually-controlled thermostats, smoke detector, and air conditioner sleeves. Additionally, we offer 65 one-bedroom units and 10 two-bedroom units, with several units being barrier-free and wheelchair accessible.
Services Offered
We understand the importance of providing comprehensive services to our residents. As a federally-monitored facility, we cover a number of utilities including garbage, water, and heat. This ensures that our residents can enjoy affordable and worry-free living. Our housing maintenance and landscaping services are also available to ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and beautiful.
In addition to these services, we offer a rentable multi-purpose room for parties and personal events, as well as a lobby intercom and video security system for added safety and convenience. Our coin-operated laundry rooms are also available for residents' use.
Eligibility and Application Process
To be eligible for housing at Dundee Housing Commission, applicants must be 62 years of age and/or legally disabled, and meet our income guidelines. Our income limits for Monroe County are as follows: Household of one person - $50,900, and Household of two people - $58,150. To apply, applicants can download our housing application and submit it with the required supporting documentation. Once the application is submitted, applicants will be added to our wait list and will be contacted when an apartment becomes available.

Applicants who live or work in Dundee take local preference over any other applicants on the wait list.

4. Do you accept or provide Section 8 vouchers?
No, we do not. We are a public housing project.
5. Can residents have dogs or cats?
