Geritom Medical, Inc. is a family-owned, independent pharmacy that has been serving the long-term care and complex chronic disease community for over two decades. Founded on Christian values and a strong commitment to serve and support those with long-term care needs and complex diseases, Geritom Medical has built a reputation for superior customer service and innovative support programs.

Our story began in 1991 when Tom Smith, our founder, envisioned a pharmacy that would be more than just a place that fills prescriptions. His vision led to a pharmacy that focuses on services and programs for those with special needs. Today, Geritom Medical is one of the top independent non-chain pharmacies in the country, serving over 12,000 customers and 1,600 facilities in the greater Twin Cities area.

LTC Pharmacy Services

Long-term care pharmacy represents the core of Geritom Medical's foundation. We have been a leader in serving home and community-based care waiver programs, including brain injury (BI), community alternative care (CAC), community alternatives for disabled individuals (CADI), developmental disabilities (DD), and elderly waiver (EW). We also serve the mental health and complex assisted living markets.

Our LTC pharmacy services include customized medication therapy management, flexible delivery schedules, pharmacist-based clinical services, medical records, medical supply integration, and education programs. We work closely with each customer to plan, customize, and implement specific programs that meet their unique needs.
