Creo Dance & Art Conservatory

CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory is a unique dance institution that aims to cultivate strong, creative, determined, joyful, and wholesome artists. We are dedicated to providing high-quality dance classes that enhance the overall development of each child. Our safe and child-centered environment encourages students to explore dance with qualified, nurturing instructors who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of dancers.

Classes at CREO

We offer classes for dancers of all ages and skill levels, from early childhood to adulthood. Our affordable curriculum is structured to provide excellent instruction and guidance in your dance journey, whether you are a novice or an advanced dancer. We offer three tracks to suit each dancer's needs and goals:

• The dancer who is beginning their dance journey or seeking to progress in their training. These dancers commit to one or two days per week and likely enjoy commitments to other activities.
• The dancer seeking to accelerate their development in dance. These dancers choose dance as their primary commitment.
• The dancer considering a future in dance beyond CREO. The dancers commit to a class regimen reflective of the highest degree of excellence. Please ask about auditions for this program.

Performance at CREO

At CREO, we believe that performance is an essential part of a dancer's training. We offer up to five performance opportunities per year, giving dancers the chance to build community, experience the mystery of the stage, and be a part of the creative process from beginning to end. These opportunities offer an alternative to dance competition and give the dancer a chance to experience true concert dance.

CREO Staff

Our students benefit from a positive, qualified, artistic staff, many of whom have earned Fine Arts Degrees in their field. Our staff is trained to nurture and encourage the individual, refining an eye for excellence, building confidence, friendships, and positive experiences.

Faith-Based Dance Opportunities

As a dance conservatory, we are committed to providing opportunities for dancers to explore and express their faith through dance. We offer various faith-based dance productions throughout the year, giving dancers the chance to connect with their faith and community through the art of dance.

Unique Ballet Curriculum

Our ballet curriculum is unique, rooted in Cicchetti, and lends itself to all forms of classical ballet. Dancers in our Classical Ballet Curriculum spend two years in each level, refining technique, alignment, and style. Some dancers will choose to follow the CCB track toward Pointe work.

Wholesome, Family-Friendly Atmosphere

At CREO, we pride ourselves on providing a wholesome, family-friendly atmosphere. We emphasize community and kindness, with a focus on The Golden Rule: do onto others as you would have done onto you. Our dancers are required to dress modestly to encourage focus on dance rather than body type. Our music choices are clean and age-appropriate.

Focus on Performance, Not Competition

At CREO, we believe that performance is more important than competition. Our dancers perform in the annual West-Metro community tradition, The Tales & Tails of Folks & Fairies, various faith-based dance productions, Elevate Youth Dance Festival, Cathedral Dance Festival, and our spring Recital.
